Tropical homes are common signature houses of exotic places, but are also existing anywhere. Specifically designed to focus on environment, tropical houses address concerns on climate and ventilation. Experience the coziness of this elevated tropical one story house: blend of nature and architecture.

This house is a decoration in tropical style that will catch your eye. Designed to embrace the environmental conditions, the building has a floor area of 125 sq.m. While complying with the legal housing requirements of 1.5 meters minimum setback, it requires 290 sq.m. lot to build.

This elevated tropical one story house: blend of nature and architecture aims to organize the influence of surroundings to the functions of the structure.  The design projects a friendly layout and including these features: terrace, living and dining rooms, two bedrooms, two T&B, kitchen, working area and carport.

Description of Elevated Tropical One Story House: Blend of Nature and Architecture

With attention to the front elevation, the outer façe of the dining room reflects with French type windows while the side elevations transmit slimmer glass sizes. Meanwhile, the design features a combination of plaster finish on the top and a layer of cement textured finish on the base.

This tropical house looks stunning with how the structure is roofed with three assemblies of hip type roof showing fine touches of valley and ridge. Another key point of this house plan is the perfect blend of colors white and grey from bottom to top. Additionally, a layer of orange and a shade of brown simply offer an extra appeal.

The entire exterior of the building symbolizes tropical modernism. A L-shaped flat roof protects the terrace and carport. The structure looks heightened by different shapes of rectangular and square columns showing strength and authority. Sitting comfortably on its place, a steel perimeter fence secures the terrace which adds a unique appeal.

Looking taller, the design elevates by five steps from natural grade line. The terrace opens to the living room to the right and dining room to the left with a combined space of 28.0 sq.m. A space of 16.0 m² is for the kitchen that sits in front of the living room. To accommodate some household activities, a small working area supports at the back of the kitchen.

The sleeping quarter of this house has an elevation of three steps from the main floor line. Two bedrooms are placed on opposite corners of the left section with an attached T&B in the middle. One bedroom is furnished by a private toilet and bath while the other share with the common unit for the family. A carport lies on the right portion of the design.

Overall, the design stands tall with its clean edges and refined architectural layout.
