The concept of Contemporary house design represents the modern architecture which are remarkably everywhere and choice of most families longing to have their own home. Pinoy House Design offers another series in Micaela featuring a two storey unit of about 90 m² floor area sitting in 95 m² lot area.
This slender small house design will attract the middle income families considering the floor area and the materials used in the building which offer the following features: brave sections of rectangular wall partitions, aluminium cased glass windows, corner glass wall, marble/granite column, canopy type of window protection, vertical layered front fence and contrasting off-white and dark grey paints applied alternately from section to section.
An uncovered front porch introduces this home to the living room. The living spaces of this simple contemporary house design namely the living room; dining room and kitchen are planned in a right triangular L-shape scheme which delivers accessibility and coordination at considerable level. As the area is relatively small, every inch of space is wisely utilized and yet the basic components are contained. A maid’s room and a T&B are even provided in the first floor with a service area available for other household and kitchen activities. A sliding door opening at the right of the dining room is a medium for the transmission of the much needed air and light to ventilate the inside.
This striking contemporary house design containing the three bedrooms in average sizes, are laid out in a linear arrangement complemented by a shared toilet and bath on the corner. Each room anyway is provided with complete bedroom facilities and individual walk-in-closet. The staircase wrapped by adjacent glass partitions on the corners reveals a unique idea of aesthetics and grace. On the left side of the house is the carport proposed to be roof covered independently in the future.
Highly dramatic effect as seen from colors application is registered on the main elevation. The choice of color seems to look dry and lifeless but with pronounced and well-crafted garden planted with small trees and flowering plants, the house will render natural beauty and will define modernism. This gracious home combines warm and appeal with a strong front facade which create a true contemporary house design.
